Qatar Airways is known for its exceptional service and generous baggage allowance. Whether you’re traveling in economy class or enjoying the luxuries of first class, Qatar Airways has specific baggage policy in place to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey. We’ll cover everything you need to know about Qatar Airways’ baggage fees, allowances, and policy.

Qatar Airways Carry-on Allowance

When it comes to carry-on baggage, Qatar Airways allows passengers to bring a personal item and a standard carry-on bag. The specific allowances vary depending on the class of service.

Personal Item and Standard Carry-on Bag

In economy class, passengers are allowed one free carry-on bag weighing up to 15 pounds (7 kg). First class and business class passengers can bring two free carry-on bags with a combined total weight of 33 pounds (15 kg).

Size Restrictions

Qatar Airways specifies that personal items should be within a reasonable size limit, such as a handbag or small briefcase. The dimensions for the standard carry-on bag should not exceed 20 x 15 x 10 inches (50 x 37 x 25 cm).

Lap Infant Carry-on Policy

Infants traveling on Qatar Airways are not permitted any carry-on allowance. Any necessary items for the infant must be carried in the adult’s carry-on bag.
