If your flight was reserved through a third party, such as a travel agency, the flight change policy may not apply.
Making Changes to Your Flight
Air Europa allows customers to change their flights at any time before departure or upon arrival, subject to certain conditions. For flights in the initial phase, changes can be made within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time. It’s important to keep in mind that name changes are only permitted for the three name characters on the flight ticket.
Validity of Tickets
To be eligible for the flight change policy, your ticket must still be valid, meaning it should not be more than a year old. Only tickets that have been purchased and are within their validity period are subject to the flight change policy.
Air Europa’s 24-Hour Flight Change Policy
Air Europa offers a 24-hour flight change policy, which allows passengers to make changes to their bookings within 24 hours of the original reservation. However, this policy does not support changes to existing bookings. Passengers can cancel their reservation within the 24-hour window without incurring any charges and receive a full refund to the original form of payment.
Exceptions to the 24-Hour Flight Change Policy
It’s important to note that the 24-hour flight change policy does not apply to group prices, reward tickets, or reservations made using travel credit vouchers. For these cases, passengers should refer to the specific terms and conditions associated with their booking.

Online Flight Change Reservation
To request a flight change online, follow these simple steps:
- Visit Air Europa’s official website.
- Click on the “Manage Reservation” tab and select “View my booking.”
- Enter your last name and six-digit booking reference to retrieve your booking.
- Select the flight you wish to change and choose the “Change My Flight” option.
- Review the available flight options and select your preferred new itinerary.
- The system will provide you with an explanation of any applicable change fees or fare differences.
- Make a payment using a credit or debit card to confirm your new booking.
- You will receive a confirmation email with your updated flight schedule.
Flight Change Reservation Helpline
If you prefer to speak to a customer service representative, you can call Air Europa’s toll-free helpline. Provide your six-digit booking reference and request the necessary changes to your Air Europa ticket. The travel executive will guide you through the process, including selecting new dates, locations, and making the required payment.
Air Europa Change Reservation at the Airport
For last-minute changes, you can visit the Air Europa airport counter. Please note that changes to Air Europa tickets can only be made at the airport of scheduled departure, and requests must be made no later than two hours before the departure time.
Air Europa Flight Change Fees
Air Europa charges a modification fee of $55 for flight changes made up to two hours before the scheduled departure time. However, passengers can avoid this fee by adding a $20 travel protection premium at the time of booking. This premium allows passengers to make up to three changes without incurring any additional fees. It’s important to note that these free modifications must be made within 12 months of the original reservation date.
