Whether you need to change the date of travel or modify your destination, Air Arabia provides various channels for making these adjustments. We will explore the flight modification and cancellation policies for flights operated by Air Arabia, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, Air Arabia Maroc, and Air Arabia Egypt.
Modifying Flights Operated by Air Arabia (Flight No. starts with G9)
If you have booked a flight with Air Arabia (flight numbers starting with G9), you have the flexibility to modify your flight or cancel it altogether. Here are the details of the modification and cancellation charges for Air Arabia Flight Cancellation Policy based on the duration before departure:
Change Duration:
- 72 hours before departure
- 72 to 24 hours before departure
- Within 24 hours before departure
Modification Charges:
- 25% of the fare and surcharge or a minimum of AED 150 per passenger each way (fare difference applies for modification)
- 25% of the fare and surcharge or a minimum of AED 200 per passenger each way (fare difference applies for modification)
- No changes permitted
Cancellation Charges:
- 30% of the fare and surcharge or a minimum of AED 150 per passenger each way
- 30% of the fare and surcharge or a minimum of AED 200 per passenger each way
- Not permitted
Please note that for group bookings, modification and cancellation charges may vary, and it’s best to contact your issuing agency for specific details. Additionally, Air Arabia does not have a refund policy once the booking is paid for, except for flights to/from Cairo. In case of cancellation, Air Arabia will retain the remaining amount as a credit towards a future flight, which can be used for travel within one year from the date of payment by the same passenger only.
Business Class passengers on Cairo flights are eligible for free modification (fare difference will apply) up to 8 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. All passengers to/from Cairo are entitled to a refund on cancellation, subject to terms and conditions. If you have purchased the Flexi or booked the Extra fare, you will be able to modify your booking once without a modification charge (fare difference applies) or cancel your booking without a cancellation fee, up to 8 hours before departure. However, certain reservations, such as promotional tickets or free gifted tickets, may not be eligible for modifications.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, a joint venture between Air Arabia and Etihad Airways, also offers flexibility when it comes to modifying or canceling your flight. Here are the details of the modification and cancellation charges for flights operated by Air Arabia Abu Dhabi:

- 72 to 24 hours before departure
- Within 24 hours before departure

Air Arabia Maroc does not have a cancellation or refund policy once the booking is paid for. However, if you have purchased the Flexi or booked the Extra fare, you will be able to modify your booking twice without a modification charge, with only the fare difference applicable. Adjustments to flights operated by Air Arabia Maroc (Flight No. starts with E5)
Air Arabia Egypt (flight numbers starting with E5) also offers options for modifying or canceling your flight. Here are the details:

- 24 hours before departure
Modification Charges:
- A minimum of EGP 450 per passenger each way (fare difference applies for modification)
Cancellation Charges:
- A minimum of EGP 700 – 900 per passenger each way, depending on the fare rule
